Strong Families, Safe Kids: We envision a time where every child lives in a safe environment and has the opportunities to grow and create a successful future. As we enter our thirty first year of service to the community we are humbled by the outpouring of community support we have received from so many entities and individuals without whom we could not have sustained and grown to become the organization we are today. More than just a local charity to the people of the greater Phoenix area, we have been safety, encouragement, and home to over 13,100 children since we opened our doors in 1981. The Center began as a 7-bed emergency shelter for abused and neglected children and has grown, through community support, into an organization that brightens thousands of futures a year.
